Surprised to read such a negative report on vecchia caserma! I have been eating there ever since it oppened over 5 years ago & have never been disappointed either with the service or quality of the dishes or indeed of the prices.

The food here is excellent & the wine list is exceptional. Goose served as an antipasto with rocket & balsamic is wonderful, fillet steaks out of this world & done to your own personal taste. This week there was a wonderful wood fire burning & the whole atmosphere was 'do come again soon'. The owner chef is so friendly & will do anything to make your food to your own taste. His wife is such a lovely person & waits on tables always with a smile & friendly. In fact the whole restaurant is a very friendly place & one to go back again & again. Fantastic!

Went to a 'fish night' and the food was superb, the service great and the atmosphere was very friendly. Amazed to find such a special place in this small village. We will definitely be regular customers. Fantastic night out.
